We would like for the TAS Public Observing Program to accomplish the following:

• To promote the study of Astronomy (and other fields)
• To educate the public about Astronomy and issues concerning Astronomy.
• To provide the opportunity for club members to get together and enjoy our hobby.
• We accomplish these goals by:
• Holding regularly scheduled events open to the public (1st Saturday, 2nd Saturday, etc)
• Holding private events with local schools and other organizations.
